Anthurium crystallinum ‘Silver Blush’ 12cm Pot

Anthurium crystallinum is known as the Crystal Anthurium due to to the glittery shimmer of its foliage and especially the prominent silver veins. ‘Silver Blush’ has thicker silver veining than the standard Anthurium crystallinum. New growth emerges a beautiful red colour, rarely offered variety of Anthurium that appreciates warmth and humidity and then is a fast grower and quite easy to care for.

• Likes bright light, but no direct sun. Hot, direct sunlight can cause scorch marks on the leaves that look like dry, brown patches. Ideally kept in temperatures above 15°c and away from cold drafts
• Water thoroughly to ensure that all the roots are watered and allow excess to run off. Wait till the top couple inches of potting mix is dry before watering again. Water less often in autumn and winter, but don’t allow potting medium to dry out. Yellow leaves indicate over-watering
• Feed monthly in spring and summer
• Enjoys high humidity. Place with other plants, or use a pebble tray to replicate the humid rainforest environment. Do not mist leaves, as this can cause brown marks
