Chlorophytum comosum ‘Ocean’ (Spider Plant) in 10.5cm Pot
€6.50 “Price excl. VAT: €5.73”
Chlorophytum comosum ‘Ocean’ is a compact spider plant, looking a little like Variegatum, with creamy margins and a green centre. It is an attractive, cascading plant, with small white flowers and ‘babies’ forming on long, narrow stems called runners. Ideal as a hanging plant.
Care tips:
Light: Bright, indirect light. Will tolerate some shade; however, this will slow its growth rate and it may lose its stripes.
Water: Keep well-watered, aiming for lightly moist soil throughout the growing season. Less water is needed in the winter.
Temperature: Average household temperatures are fine (above 16°C). These are fairly tough plants so should survive temperatures above 8°C in winter if the soil is kept fairly dry.
Feed: Feed with a weak solution every few weeks during the growing season. Do not feed during the winter.
Supplied in a 10.5cm pot
