Cissus striata in 12cm Pot

€9.99 “Price excl. VAT: €8.80”

Cissus striata is an eye-catching trailing houseplant with slender, arching stems covered in neatly divided, glossy green leaves that fan out like small starbursts. Its lush foliage creates a fresh, textured look that softens shelves, cupboards or hanging displays as it cascades down with ease.

Easy to grow and low-maintenance, this unusual indoor climber brings a natural, elegant touch to modern and traditional interiors alike.

Originating from tropical regions, Cissus striata prefers stable temperatures (ideally above 15C) and a bright, well-lit position away from direct sunlight (think steamy jungle conditions!) Water regularly during the growing season, allowing the surface of the compost to dry out before watering again and reduce watering slightly through the winter months.

Often known as the sugar grape, this plant can sometimes produce tiny beads of a sweet, sticky substance on its foliage. This is completely harmless and can simply be brushed or washed away.
