Epiphyllum anguliger (Fishbone Cactus) 12cm Pot
€10.99 “Price excl. VAT: €9.68”
This unusual cactus originates from the rainforest of Mexico and has uniquely shaped long, flat stems resembling a fishbone, hence its name! The stems will begin by growing upright but as they grow longer will eventually trail down. This is an epiphytic plant meaning it grows aerial roots as in its natural environment the fishbone would anchor to a host plant.
Light: bright indirect light. In later summer/early autumn make sure the plant receives a little full sun (although not peak afternoon heat), this will encourage it to produce flowers.
Watering: water regularly through the warmer months but as with all Cactus do let this plant dry out between watering. Water less frequently during the winter months.
Temperature: keep at a normal room temperature
Supplied in a 12cm pot
