Eucalyptus gunnii ‘Azura’ (Dwarf Cider Gum) 13cm Pot

Eucalyptus gunnii ‘Azura’ has a naturally compact, bushy growth habit, making it a more manageable choice than many vigorous Eucalyptus. Its rounded, blue-grey juvenile foliage catches the light with attractive silvery hues, providing year-round evergreen colour and interest in mixed borders. It combines beautifully with silver-leaved shrubs and blue-flowered perennials, while the aromatic foliage is also prized for use in flower arrangements.

This exceptionally hardy cultivar has been known to withstand temperatures as low as -20°C, although protection from cold, drying winds is advisable, particularly when young. Its relatively compact habit makes it an excellent choice for smaller gardens and regular pruning can be used to maintain the attractive juvenile foliage and control its size. Height: approximately 5m; spread: approximately 2.5m.
