Hedera helix ‘Goldchild’ in 13cm Pot, 100cm Trails

A delicately coloured variety, with light green leaves when young, broadly margined with bright yellow and as they mature the leaves becoming grey-green edged with pale yellow. A relatively compact variety, growing to a mature height of 2m with a spread of 1.5m, making Hedera helix ‘Goldchild’ perfect for a wall side border or for covering a shed. More versatile than some varieties, it is also ideal for covering a bank or a slope or as an addition to a pot or hanging basket. Just trim back as and when required. Hedera helix ‘Goldchild’ will thrive in any position, although it does prefer a sheltered aspect, in any moist, well-drained soil. It does not require tying in and no winter protection will be required in most areas of Ireland
