Hedera helix ‘Jacobine’ (Ivy) 13cm Pot, 25cm Trails

This gorgeous trailing ivy features dark green, glossy leaves with soft, scalloped, wavy edges. It grows quickly, especially during spring and summer and thrives as a trailing plant, but will happily climb if given support.

A tough and adaptable plant, Hedera helix looks wonderful when young, spilling over the edges of seasonal pots and hanging baskets. Given time, however, it can grow quite large. Planted in a border, this self-clinging evergreen climber will quickly cover unsightly walls and fences, or form a lush green carpet in dry, shady areas beneath shrubs and trees where little else thrives.

An excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens, it supports a wide range of native species. It also makes a reliable and attractive houseplant. Indoors, it stays compact for longer, trailing neatly from shelves or hanging pots and tolerates lower light levels than many other houseplants. Easy to maintain with occasional trimming, its dense foliage brings a fresh, leafy look to living spaces.
