Hoya latifolia 12cm Pot

Hoya latifolia, sometimes mislabeled as Hoya macrophylla, is a striking climbing plant with large, glossy leaves and sweetly fragrant, star-shaped flowers. Native to Southeast Asia, it grows slowly but develops into a bold vine with dark green, thick leaves and clusters of creamy-white blooms with yellow-orange centres.

This epiphyte thrives in bright, indirect light, warm temperatures and high humidity. It prefers a loose, well-draining mix and should be watered when the top of the soil dries. Indoors, it can climb a moss pole, trail from a basket and is easily propagated from stem cuttings.

Though slow-growing, with patience, Hoya latifolia rewards its owners with dramatic foliage and fragrant flowers.
