Seedlings usually appear in 14-18 days. Transplant seedlings individually to 8cm(3in) pots when large enough to handle. Sow outdoors: for ease, thinly where they are to crop, 0.5cm(1/4in) deep directly into finely prepared soil which had already been watered. Thin seedling to 30cm(1ft) apart.
Harvest: Cut the leaves as required, a few from each plant so they will quickly regrow. Leaves can be frozen for later use.
