Petroselinum crispum (Parsley) 12cm Pot

A classic culinary herb, parsley is valued for far more than a garnish. Its dark green, flavoursome leaves are used in bouquet garnis, parsley sauce, soups, and fish dishes. Native to the Mediterranean, it is rich in vitamin C and iron and has long been appreciated for its freshening qualities.

Parsley grows well in dappled shade or full sun, particularly in south- or west-facing positions at the front of the border. Leaves can be frozen, but the best flavour is enjoyed when used fresh.
