Philodendron scandens 6cm Pot

With its glossy, heart-shaped leaves, Philodendron scandens, or sweetheart plant, is a popular choice for the home. It’s a versatile, air-purifying houseplant which can be trained to trail or climb. It can reach heights of up to 4m in 5-10 years, with the leaves reaching lengths of up to 30cm. Mature plants may produce green and white flowers.

For best results grow Philodendron scandens in medium light, but it will also tolerate bright or shady spots. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves. Keep the soil moist, only watering when the top layer of soil has dried out to avoid overwatering. Philodendron scandens thrives in humid environments so mist occasionally to help maintain humidity. Feed once a month in spring and summer.
