Philodendron scandens ‘Micans’ in 12cm Pot

Philodendron scandens ‘Micans’ has velvety, heart-shaped leaves that emerge with a soft pinkish hue before maturing into rich green foliage. This elegant trailing houseplant looks beautiful cascading from shelves or hanging planters, with slender stems that gradually lengthen as it grows.

Place in bright, indirect light, avoiding harsh direct sun. Water when the top 2–5cm of compost has dried out, allowing excess water to drain away. Use a well-draining mix and maintain moderate to high humidity for best growth. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser, reducing feeding in the cooler months. Wipe leaves regularly and provide support if you’d like to encourage its natural climbing habit.
