Tillandsias, also known as ‘air plants’, are amazing plants that do not require soil to grow. They absorb water and nutrients through their leaves and the roots are simply anchors. With proper care, they can last for years and some may even bloom!

Care tips:

Tillandsia need a humid environment to thrive, so a bright bathroom or kitchen would be ideal. Misting with water a couple of times a week usually supplies enough water, although additional watering may be required in a dry hot environment. Remember to shake off any excess water as they dislike overwatering. If possible use rain water, especially in hard water areas.
